Available to students who have finished the 7th, 8th and 9th grades, the Uruguay Summer Experience is a 14-day cultural exchange and community service program based in Jose Ignacio, Uruguay.

With a focus on personal growth, the program is designed to offer opportunities that foster responsible citizenship, healthy lifestyles, environmental stewardship, international understanding, service, and respect for individual differences.

Over the course of the two-week program, participants will have the opportunity to work and play hand-in-hand with local teens on a number of community service projects and adventure-based recreational activities. Combined with historical and natural tours throughout Uruguay, the Uruguay Summer Experience is the perfect international immersion opportunity.

Trip Leaders Marc Bradley (Owner of Four Peaks Travel) and Tim Murphy (Director of Placement at the Fessenden School) have a combined 35-years in residential summer camp leadership experience. Having worked together at Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA, Marc and Tim bring their passion for international, experiential learning to the Uruguay Summer Session.

Prior to founding Four Peaks Travel, Marc worked as the Assistant Rescue & Risk Manager for Mount Snow Resort in West Dover, VT. He is a licensed Outdoor Emergency Care Technician with 20 years of rescue experience.
